Battlechasers Joe "mad" Mauderia artist of the best selling Uncanny X-Men creates yet another best seller. In July of 1998 the 3 first issues of the CLIFFHANGER (the department of Image Comics that consists of the 3 books Battlechasers , Danger Girl , and Crimson )chain were released Battlechasers and Danger Girl being the in the top 10 comics in WIZARD(The comics magazine available in all fine comic stores in your area )since their release Battlechasers still reigning at numero uno (number one for all you dim wits). Battlechasers Prelude (another universe exclusive):starts with introduction of Gully (the main charachter) . Werewolves posing as imperial guards looking for clues to the dissapearance of Arramaus (gullys father and a well respected warrior) are found out by some of the real imperial guards and the werewolves defeat them. Ends in Gully being chased by werewolves. Battlechasers #1:Calllibretto saves gully from the werewolves and takes her to his and his friend Knoalan's house . Red Monika (a very good looking lady) is confronted to break a prisoner/pirater by the name of Ryon del Soya out of the skyhold prison where most dangerous convicts are held.The prisoners are said to be held there fast by the sheer willpower of the MENTU a high order of munks.Knoalan finds the box that Gully was carrying (it had a magical seal on it and Knoalan is a master of magic)and it included Aramaus' magical gloves (the most powerful weapon ever. Battlechasers #2:This issue starts in Sirene Valley 3 hours past dawn.Clavius a warrior in the imperial guard and his friend Jarren have left the camp site to meet Clavius' friend and trainer Garrison who himself is a well respected warrior and a friend of Aramaus.Clavius tells of Aramaus and his daughter's dissapearance and he is enraged and Clavius asks Garrison to help him and the imperial guard to find Aramaus and his daughter Gully.Garrison sees Clavius' sword and is changed from an en raged mode to a very calm mode(maybe we'll see something about this later)and Garrison refuses.Later it shows Gully sleeping Callibretto is with her and Knoalan has headed to the market to buy food and supplies.The werewolves have located Gully and taken Callibretto out so Gully puts on her fathers gloves and oens up a can on them werewolves .at the end shows Red Monika preparing to raid the Skyhold prison. Battlechasers #3:Starts off with Red Monika and her accoplances raiding the Skyhold prison of Gaia to break Ryon del Soya shwe takes out the guards releases Ryon trying to pursuade Monika into telling him her intentions Ryon holds a gun to her head Monika kicks hom in the old family jewels and the gun goes off they were in the mana containment area so it set off a series of explosions and they barely escaped the blast. King Vaneer meets Maestro leader of the elite military force known as the Marshal Paladins the king wants Maestro to help in the search for Arramaus.At the end Gully, Callibretto , and Knoalan are heading toward Capitol City to make sure Gully will be in good hands or her families custody . ATrhe very end the 3 are traveling and are attacked by Garrison who has been hunting them throughout the issue and they finnaly find out that they are working toward the same goal and unite .
